(Review of Dreamcast version)

The graphics in Wacky Races are incredible. That has to be said. While not mind-blowing, they are just absolutely fascinating. You just look at this game and wonder, "How'd they do that?"

The look of the game is perfect. The vehicles and environments have a 3-D cartoon look that really and truly captures the 2-D essence of the animation in the original television series. The graphics are a major accomplishment.

The controls are some of the smoothest I've experienced in a long time. Braking and accelerating with the L and R buttons works extremely well, and each vehicle is wacky and fun with its own set of tangible, logical attributes.

The courses are short, and the game lacks an addictive quality, but Wacky Races is a piece of eye candy that the kids will enjoy.
