Marvin Strikes Back is a charming title that maximizes the Looney Tunes license perhaps more
than any other video game ever made. More than 45 Looney Tunes characters appear in the
game, sixteen of which are playable. Daffy, Bugs, Speedy, Marvin, and his assistant K-9 are a
few examples.
Each character has his own unique abilities. Marvin can shoot his ray gun. K-9 can jump.
Speedy can run as well as squeeze through small holes. Some of the 45 characters can even be
traded via the Game Link or infrared sensor. Fun two-player mini games are also available in
these ways.
The landscapes are beautiful done for Game Boy. Each setting feels closely tied to the classic
cartoons, and the color palette is pleasing to the eye.
Infogrames didn't just slap together a mediocre game with Marvin Strikes Back. This title is
very complete and worth your time if you own a Game Boy Color. Give this one a chance.
