(Review of PS1 version)

Marvel vs. Capcom is a PlayStation port of the original Dreamcast title. Though the game touts "tag team" action in Cross Over Mode, purists will scoff that "true" tag team play is not available in Arcade, Versus, and Training modes. (Believe it or not, Gallery is considered a mode. Nice try, Capcom!)

The difference between Partner Heroes (perform variable counter, variable combination, variable cross) and Special Heroes (perform special fighter, special counter, special hyper combo) is negligible. The game needs to be a little more intuitive in its start-up design. Some more detailed explanations in the manual could go a long way.

No analog support? What?
