I know this is harsh, but Knockout Kings 2000 is really just a brainless slugfest with blah
graphics. I hate boxing, so I'm biased. The sport is boring to me, and the game is even
more boring. I'd go for it if I could at least see some creative effort, but everything in
this game plays by the book. All modes are the same in terms of game play. The
classic fights mode is the only mode to include entrances, but otherwise it's the same as
any other mode with those two fighters.
Controls can't be rearranged to your liking, but you can take out your anger by
performing illegal moves against your opponent. I just wish you could bash somebody's
nuts in. Or how about self-mutilation? Now that would be fun!
Things you never knew you never knew: Judge Mills Lane did the motion-capture for
the game's official referee. As if we'd know or appreciate that it's actually him.
