Having committed the ultimate sin by being one of the few reviewers not to have played Tony Hawk, I can't compare this game to that title.

Actually, that's not true. I can honestly say that I think the screen shots for Tony Hawk look better than Grind Session in motion. The graphics stink.

I can't help but feel like Grind Session is in the same position as Cool Boarders; it will take a few more years before the series really gets it right. Busting electronic equipment to earn "respect" is cute but hardly gripping game play.

In the current state, Grind Session is just not that much fun, and I find myself incapable of providing any more depth in my analysis. The game just feels more serviceable than creative.
