Review by Tom Allen 1 Star out of 4 (Review of Dreamcast version)
ECW Anarchy Rulz for the Dreamcast has plenty of features, but it looks and plays like
yesterday's WWF game, with one exception. The opening video montage looks like you're
watching a DVD.
Somewhat new features include chain wrestling and belt challenges. The game offers great
match types with 35 characters, but the unintuitive and varyingly responsive controls quickly
sour the game.
Review by Tom Allen ½ Star out of 4 (Review of PS1 version)
Here's an interesting dilemma. WWF Royal Rumble has hardly any features. ECW Anarchy
Rulz has plenty of features, but it looks and plays like yesterday's WWF game, complete with
yesterday's load times.
Somewhat new features include chain wrestling and belt challenges. The game offers great
match types with 35 characters, but the unintuitive and discriminatingly responsive controls and
horrible graphic textures and animation quickly sink the game.
