(Review of Dreamcast version)
The original Dino Crisis was released on the Sony PlayStation. This Sega Dreamcast version
offers smoother graphics and a VMU bullet/status display, but that's about it. The subscreen has
an organized system of revolving menus for items and supplies.
Overall, though, the dinosaurs aren't very scary, and the three endings are not satisfying. All
three are typical Hollywood escape scenes with pure action and no character arc resolution.
Also, since the graphics don't live up to the standard set by Resident Evil: Code Veronica, your
best bet is to go with that game or Resident Evil 3, which is also available on Dreamcast.
