Cannon Spike wants to be the Contra III of the Dreamcast, and it could have been if it weren't for a few flaws. First, the game has short levels and replay value. Second, the graphics suffer from an odd "wiggle" in the gravel whenever your characters move. Third, all the characters have this strange "floating" style of control.

On the character selection screen, keep pressing left and you will uncover a secret option to play as Mega Man. Keep pressing right to find a female Darkstalkers character.

Cannon Spike is not Contra III, but it's perfect for young players who may not be up to that kind of challenge.
