The Bust a Move series is one of the most prolific in the puzzle genre, with at least a dozen titles under its belt. The latest Game Boy version has a puzzle mode, story mode, two-player link mode, challenge mode, and endless play mode.

All modes involve aiming a pointer in order to shoot colored balloons into a cloud of other balloons. Place like-colored balloons together, and they will pop. With time, the balloons will drag lower. If they hit the ground, you're toast, so try to pop as many balloons as you can.

The problem with this title is that the balloons are so small on Game Boy that aiming the pointer accurately is too hard on your poor little eyeballs. Check out the recent Bust a Move 4 Dreamcast release if you want to avoid the strain.
