2 Stars out of 4

Aerowings 2 is your basic flight sim, best described with the word "boring." This game makes you appreciate Pilotwings 64.

The missions are extremely tedious, requiring excessive, make that anal, precision that is not manageable under this game's controls.

The game has a few nice touches, like landing on an air carrier and being able to crash into a hot air balloon (explosion!), but the poor graphics will get your attention the most. The water doesn't move at all. While the graphics are better on land, many locales offer cheap atmospheric effects.

Flight and racing games need amazing visuals more than any other genres. Since Aerowings 2 is fairly dull in terms of game play, the mediocre graphics kill a game that is already on thin ice. Flight sim fans will be happy, though.
