Nebraska, even with it's lack of the E Street Band, remains my favorite
Bruce Springsteen album. It's stripped down sound and the stories
told through the lyrics, make the album Springsteen's most personal one
up until The Ghost of Tom Joad, and even that doesn't hold a candle to this.
The songs bring out a real emotion in the listener, and you feel that
pringsteen is the person he's singing about (or was at least there). It's
an album that has to be heard to be believed, and I suggest you give it a try.
