4 stars out of 4

So, why, you might be asking yourself, am I reviewing a little three song single? Simply because it is the most absolutely brilliant piece of music that I've heard all year!!! "Parallel World" is perfect. It's got a beautiful lyric, brilliant music, and of course Glenn Tilbrook's angelic voice. As a pop single, it's got real chart potential, since after you hear it the first time, you'll never forget it. As a tender balad, the piano version melts the heart of man and woman alike.

"By the Light of the Cash Machine"--the non-LP track--is a fun little love song that has Ron Sexsmith's lyrical stamp all over it. Then, Glenn comes along and adds a very Squeezey tune to it.

If you've ever liked Squeeze at any point in their career, or you just happen to be a fan of quality pop music, pick up a copy of "Parallel World." Oh, and recomend it to friends!
