Widely acclaimed as one of the best thrash albums of all time, 'Among the
Living' is Anthrax's finest moment. Boasting speed anthems like 'I Am The
Law', 'Indians' and 'Efilnikufesin'; Anthrax not only brought a sense of
joyful humour to the dark, prominently Satanic world of thrash metal; but
were also one of the first extreme metal bands to touch on various political
and social commentaries. It is undeniable that Anthrax provided the
blueprint for the rebellistic, anti-establishment musical fury of today's
rap/rock stars like Rage Against The Machine. But even if you're not into
message-oriented metal tunes, that's okay because Anthrax still provide
enough frenetic thrills to keep heads banging and bodies moshing.
